Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has expressed his support for Liverpool’s potential signing of Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, believing he could fill the void left by Sadio Mane’s departure two years ago.

Speaking to a media platform, Jamie Carragher stated that Liverpool are yet to replace Mane and the English youngster will do so.
Carragher stated: “I think it would be a good signing for Liverpool, I’m a big fan. I do feel Liverpool still haven’t replaced the pace they had in the attack when they had Sadio Mane and they need to replace that.”

Anthony Gordon has established himself as one of the troubling wingers in the Premier League as he caused problems for defenders. He will further improve the squad depth of Liverpool when he joins them.
