Veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has publicly addressed Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti for his support of Verydarkman, who accused her of taking N65 million to seek justice for the late Mohbad.

This dispute arose after Seun Kuti publicly supported Verydarkman, who was recently re-arrested by the police on allegations of defamation.
Iyabo Ojo clarified her reasons for pursuing legal action against Verydarkman, stating that he falsely accused her and others of accepting N65 million to fight for justice for Mohbad, a former signee of Marlain Music.

The actress emphasized that her issue with Verydarkman stemmed from his explicit accusations and defamation. Contrary to his claims, Ojo revealed that she spent her own money to hire a lawyer for Mohbad’s case.
Ojo also recounted how her husband, Paulo Okoye, advised her to drop the case, only for Verydarkman to target Okoye following Davido’s grand wedding.
