Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has clapped back at critics amid the controversy over her social media post praising Mohbad’s mother.

Iyabo faced backlash for suggesting that women should pray for a mother-in-law like Mohbad’s, leading to comparisons with her own daughter, Priscilla.
In response, Iyabo held a live session where she vehemently cursed out her detractors, condemning their rudeness and lack of manners.
She defended Mohbad’s mother’s actions, implying she endured hardship in her marriage before leaving her children for ten years.

Addressing her critics in Yoruba, Iyabo warned that their curses would affect them and their future generations.

Iyabo Ojo, known for her roles in both English and Yoruba films, debuted in the English-language film “Satanic” in 1998 before transitioning to Yoruba films with “Baba Darijinwon” in 2002.
As a producer, her film “Silence” premiered in 2015, featuring Joseph Benjamin, Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon. She has produced numerous successful films, including “Bolutife,” “Bofeboko,” and “Esan.”
Despite personal challenges, including divorce, Iyabo has continued to thrive in the industry, featuring in over 150 films and producing more than 14 of her own.
