“I’ve Never Been In Love” – Tems Reveals

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has opened up about her personal experiences with love, revealing that she has never been in love. Despite her global success and influence as a prominent figure in the music industry, the 28-year-old singer shared her thoughts on love and her desire to experience it someday.

In a recent episode of the Flow With Korty show, Tems discussed her perspective on love, challenging the commonly held notion that “love is blind.” For her, love is a conscious choice made with full awareness of the other person’s flaws and qualities. “I haven’t been in love. Loving someone for me is more of ‘I see you and I still want to be in your life. Even though you annoy me sometimes, I choose you and I choose you,’” she explained.

Tems emphasized the importance of genuine connection and understanding in love, rather than infatuation or superficial attraction. “I would like to be in love, to experience something deep but really real, not blind. I don’t believe that love is blind. I think if you really love someone, you’re loving them with your eyes open,” she added.
