Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Francisca Gawugah, popularly known as Sista Afia has expressed that she has never been a favorite of the Ghana Music Awards scheme.

This sentiment arises following the “Jeje” hitmaker’s failure to secure a nomination in any category at the 25th Ghana Music Awards, which is currently sponsored by Telecel.
Sista Afia was recently scheduled to perform at the finals of the women’s football competition at the All-African Games, where the Black Princesses emerged victorious, clinching the Gold medal against the Nigerian team.

She shared her thoughts on her Facebook page after the nominees’ announcement at a vibrant ceremony, featuring performances from artists such as Olive TheBoy and legendary Highlife artist Amandzeba Nat Brew.
