Nigerian international superstar Wizkid has continuously elevated Nigerian and African music with his chart-topping singles and critically acclaimed albums. As he gears up for the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Morayo,’ Wizkid has declared this project as his finest work yet.

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on July 4, 2024, the Grammy-winning artist expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming album.

“MORAYO!! Best album I ever made!! Now listen! It’s only up from here!” he wrote.

The album ‘Morayo’ holds deep personal significance for Wizkid, as it is named in honour of his late mother, who passed away in August 2023. This announcement follows an emotional tribute he paid to her in a recent post.
