Is The DeLorean Coming Back As An Electric Car?

DeLorean Motor Company, an auto company of the 80s, is making a comeback with an Alpha 5 EV model of an electric car.

The company made it clear that beyond building an electric sports car it is also investing in the complete EV brand.

The new DeLorean EV model will come in gull-wing doors and will appear in any old-school movie.

The new design will come with so much clarity that the front and the rear will have the same resemblance and one is able to tell if it’s a DeLorean or not.

The new model also features a 100kWh battery, with a capacity to run 300 miles at a speed of 155mph. Also, the new DeLorean EV mode comes with a center “V” logo.

The DeLorean Motor Company is expecting the new model to rank top 5 on the list of the most competitive vehicles in the market, with the Middle East and South America as major importers.

DeLorean will be unveiling the Alpha 5 in Pebble Beach come August 21st.
