The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who operated in Northern California in the late 1960s under the moniker Zodiac.

The Zodiac came up with the term in a series of taunting letters and cards he sent to local media, threatening murder sprees and explosions if they didn’t print them.
Cryptograms, or ciphers, were included in some of the letters, in which the killer claimed to be collecting his victims as slaves for the afterlife.
The last two of his four ciphers, (the first deciphered in 1969 and the second in 2020), remains unresolved to this day.
Senator Ted Cruz, according to a widely distributed internet meme from 2015, was the Zodiac Killer.
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the serial murderer terrified Northern California with a run of five horrific killings. Cruz, on the other hand, was born in 1970, thereby ruling him out as a legitimate suspect. As a result, the meme’s ridiculous comedy.

As National Public Radio pointed out, the joke caught viral because so many people find Cruz creepy and want to spell it out as loudly as they can.

Unofficial investigators claim to have uncovered a strong suspect.
Although the perpetrator has been clearly linked to at least five killings, this group claims that their suspect is related to another victim.
The investigators, known as the Case Breakers Team, believe Gary F Poste, a former US airman, and house painter, is responsible for the murders.
