History
David Glickman, who is also the creator of Ultra Mobile, and Rizwan Kassim started the business in 2015 under the name Mint SIM, a division of Ultra Mobile.
Ryan Reynolds purchased a 20%–25% ownership position in the business in November 2019, following the corporate spin-off of the business from Ultra Mobile.
