It is not Keanu Reeves’ film roles that have captivated fans, but his candid real-life moments, like fetching a shuttle for his fellow passengers when a flight was canceled or sacrificing his seat on the subway.

This has earned the 55-year old Canadian actor the moniker “The Internet’s Boyfriend”.

In 2009, Reeves met Alexandra Grant at a dinner party, after which they went on to work on two books together, one of which was published in 2011, Ode To Happiness, a playful guide to climbing out of depression and juxtaposes his poetic text with her drawings. Since then, the duo has made public appearances together in ways that hint at a romantic relationship between them.

Alexander Grant, 46, is an award-winning Los Angeles-based artist well established in the industry. Her work involves sculpture, painting, film, drawing, and more. Her pieces are on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art and The Broad Museum at Michigan State University. She also founded a publishing house called X-Artists.

What we do know is that the pair are currently dating. While Reeves has had a dark romantic past, these lovebirds do look promising for a happily-ever-after.
