JaVale McGee American professional basketball player is a member of the Dallas Mavericks at the moment. The Washington Wizards selected him with the 18th overall choice in the 2008 NBA draft while he was a student at Nevada Wolf Pack.

McGee has won three NBA championships, two with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and one with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018. He won his first two championships with the Warriors.

McGee has a professional career as well as an Olympic gold medal from the 2020 U.S. team. On July 9, 2008, McGee agreed to a two-year, $2.4 million contract with the Wizards after they selected him in the draft.

However, the Wizards penalized him $10,000 in 2010 for taking part in Gilbert Arenas’ theatrics, which were meant to make light of a serious event involving guns in the locker room. McGee received a punishment after being seen joking and grinning with Arenas in a photo.

Yes, McGee joined the Dallas Mavericks on July 9, 2022. McGee was the first Wizards player to compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2011, making history for the team. His use of three basketballs in one dunk set a Guinness World Record for the most basketballs dunked in a single jump, however, he came in second to Blake Griffin.
