Is Davido Trying To Copyright ‘E Choke’ Because Wizkid’s ‘E Don Spoil’ Debuts #1 On Slang Board Chart?

Nigerian singer, Wizkid’s new slang, E Don Spoil has allegedly passed Davido’s E Choke as it debuts number 1 on the slang board.

This is according to a fan identified as @Kusssama.This post sparked a lot of reactions on social media because fans believe this might be the reason Davido has hinted at plans to copyright his e choke very soon.

According to the jowo hitmaker, the rate at which people are using the slang in their daily conversations and on social media is getting out of hand hence, he needs to own it to ensure it is credited to his name at all times. He made this plan known in a post sighted on his Twitter page.

A lot of celebrities have started copyrighting their nicknames to control the ownership of the name. A few weeks ago, BBNaija star, Ka3na copyrighted her nickname Boss lady and Erica also did the same for her name, Stargirl.
