Later that month, he led the team to a commendable second place at the NCAA Division I championships. Currently, Bowman serves as the Director of Swimming and head men’s coach for the Longhorns swimming and diving teams at the University of Texas.
Bowman’s coaching career also includes recent success with French swimmer Léon Marchand. In 2024, Bowman returned to Team France as a coach for the Paris Summer Olympics, where he proudly supported Marchand.
Wearing a “France” shirt, Bowman watched as Marchand triumphed with gold medals in three different events, further cementing his legacy in the swimming world.
