Omari Hutchinson, the young Chelsea winger, has completed his transfer to Ipswich Town for a club-record fee of £20 million, with an additional £2.5 million in add-ons.

The deal also includes a 25% sell-on clause, ensuring Chelsea will benefit from any future transfer.
Arsenal, Omari Hutchinson’s former club, will receive 15% of the current deal, reportedly £3 million, due to their own sell-on provision from his previous transfer.

Omari Hutchinson’s football career began in the Chelsea Academy before he moved to Arsenal via Charlton Athletic.
Omari Hutchinson returned to Chelsea in 2022 but made only a couple of appearances off the bench in his first season. Despite his clear potential, Omari Hutchinson will now aim to fulfill his promise away from Stamford Bridge.
Ipswich Town head coach Kieran McKenna, who showed great faith in Hutchinson last year in the Championship, will most certainly continue to trust in his abilities as they prepare for the challenge of staying in the Premier League.
