Grammy Awards winning Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy, has gotten the backing of legendary Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo, against the claims that he is arrogant.

Burna Boy has been criticized for his attitude and has been seen as very arrogant but Angelique Kidjo posits that Burna Boy owes no one an apology for his attitude which many find it haughty.

Angelique Kidjo in an exclusive interview reveals that the Grammy award artiste, Burna Boy, is being criticized because he is not an African-American. He adds that Burna Boy should focus on achieving his dreams and let go the critics.

“When you’re talented, yes, you have to have humility but that doesn’t mean you’re going to walk on yourself and apologize. For what? I’m good at what I do. You don’t like it? Sorry! If it was an African-American person having that attitude, nobody would say anything. Angelique Kidjo said in an interview.

“That’s my boy mehn! Let him do his stuff. If you don’t like it, sorry for you… You leave my boy alone!” Angelique Kidjo added.
