I Owe My Success to Don Jazzy – Slimcase

Notable singer Oluwafemi Oladapo, popularly known as Slimcase, shared how Don Jazzy inspired him to become a content producer and influencer.

Speaking in an interview with Lagos’ Naija FM, Slimcase explained that he didn’t initially plan to be an influencer but found himself naturally drawn to it.

Slimcase observed Don Jazzy’s ability to stay relevant over the years and was inspired by his lifestyle and success.

Slimcase said he didn’t consciously decide to become a content creator; it happened as he continued his music career and noticed online trends.

He admired Don Jazzy’s approach to maintaining relevance and engaging with fans, which motivated him to follow a similar path. This strategy has helped him keep his fans engaged while working on his music.

Slimcase’s comments come shortly after Wizkid faced criticism online for calling Don Jazzy an “influencer.” Slimcase’s admiration for Don Jazzy highlights the producer’s significant influence in the entertainment industry.

In 2018, Slimcase featured on the popular Nigerian Street-Hop single “Shepeterri” by Idowest.

The same year, he was nominated for The Headies Best Street-Hop Artiste and Best New Act at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He also won Best Collaboration at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2018.
