Slimcase said he didn’t consciously decide to become a content creator; it happened as he continued his music career and noticed online trends.

Slimcase’s comments come shortly after Wizkid faced criticism online for calling Don Jazzy an “influencer.” Slimcase’s admiration for Don Jazzy highlights the producer’s significant influence in the entertainment industry.
In 2018, Slimcase featured on the popular Nigerian Street-Hop single “Shepeterri” by Idowest.
The same year, he was nominated for The Headies Best Street-Hop Artiste and Best New Act at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He also won Best Collaboration at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2018.
