Reflecting on his dual role as both a cast member and an executive producer, Ebuka expressed the pressure he felt to ensure the success of the project. “It felt different for me on so many levels. This is sort of putting myself out there, and it was also my very first project as an executive producer, so it was a lot for me,” he remarked. “While I was a cast member, I think I was also very burdened by the fact that this thing has to work out as well as it should.”

Additionally, Ebuka addressed the tensions that arose among the male participants on the show, acknowledging the interpersonal dynamics that inevitably come into play during such endeavours. However, he emphasized his reluctance to instigate conflict, stating, “I didn’t want to be the one to start the fight.”
