“I Am Sick To My Stomach” – Dorathy Losses Her Cool As She Reacts To Twitter Ban In Nigeria

Former BBNaija housemate, Dorathy, has expressed her displeasure about the Federal government’s decision to ban the use of micro-blogging app, Twitter in the country.

If readers will recall, the Federal Government of Nigeria disclosed that will suspend the use of the app in the country indefinitely after the company deleted a controversial tweet President Muhammadu Buhari made about a secessionist movement.

Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed said government officials decided to suspend Twitter because the platform was being used for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

Due to this move by the government, before any citizen in the country can access the app, they will have to employ the use of Virtual Private Network(VPN).  Reacting to this, Dorathy questioned if the government is cutting off people’s livelihood due to a post that was deleted on the president’s page.
