YouTube is the biggest video streaming site powered by google. Many get their movies, tutorial videos, music clips, and other videos from YouTube. However, many have since tried to download videos that they see on YouTube but find it difficult to download them.

If you have been trying to download any video you see on YouTube but to no avail, you are at the right place. Follow the steps below to successfully download your videos from YouTube.
Using Internet Download Manager (IDM)
The Internet download manager is an application that helps you to download pictures, software, and movies with ease. This tutorial is good for both macOS and Windows OS users. All you need to do is to install IDM on your computer and it will automatically install its extension in your browser (chrome is good for IDM), then you are good to go. Follow the steps below:
- Download IDM. You can get it at getintopc.com, a free software website where you can get both the original software and the cracked version of the software.
- Install IDM on your PC. IDM’s plugin will automatically install in your browser (Mozilla Firefox or Chrome is good for IDM).
- Restart your browser after IDM’s plugin is fully installed in your browser.
- Go to youtube and search for the video you wish to download and click on it for it to play. You should be able to see the IDM download on top of the video, normally the top-right corner of the video as seen in the picture below.

- Click on the IDM’s download tab on top of the video.
- Choose the quality of the video you want and click on start download.
If you are not able to see the IDM download tab at the top of the video you wish to download, follow the steps below to solve that problem.
- Go to your browser’s settings.
- Click on extensions
- Make sure the IDM extension is turned on
- Restart your browser and download your video using the steps above.
