In a 2020 interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, Shannen emotionally shared her most recent cancer battle. The 50-year-old actress of Beverly Hills, 90210 is battling stage IV breast cancer.

On Instagram, she went into much more detail. “In 2015 I got diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy and did chemo and radiation. I had many nose bleeds from the chemo. Not sure if any of you experienced this. I also was beyond tired.”

No, Shannen Doherty is still living with cancer after sharing that she was in remission in 2017. She announced in February of 2020 that her cancer had returned. Despite her fatal condition, Doherty, 49, feels strong and healthy a year and a half after being diagnosed.

Shannen married her husband Kurt, a photographer back in 2011. Together, they hope to continue to raise awareness about the importance of self-care.
