AT&T’s $2 a day plan is a prepaid plan that offers a cost-effective way to stay connected. Here’s how it works: The plan charges you $2 only on the days you use your phone to make or receive a voice call (including a call to voice mailbox), or send a text or picture/video/sound message.

If you don’t use your phone, you won’t be charged for that day. The $2 charge includes unlimited talk and text within the U.S. and it also includes text to over 200 countries. For data usage, there are two options available: a $2/100MB Data Day Pass and a $5/250MB Monthly Add-On. These can be added to your plan as needed.

If you’re planning to use your phone in Canada or Mexico, there are additional charges. Calls made from Canada to the U.S. are charged at $0.39 per minute. In Mexico, calls are charged at $0.25 per minute. Text messages sent from these countries are charged at $0.25 per message and MMS messages are charged at $1.30 per message. Data is not available in these countries with the $2 plan.

To set up this plan, you can visit the AT&T website and follow the instructions to add the $2 Daily Plan to your cart. After reviewing what’s included in the plan, you can proceed to checkout. Once your service is activated, you can access the Pay Per Use plans.

Please note that the availability of this plan may vary by location and it’s always a good idea to check the latest information on the AT&T website or contact AT&T customer service for assistance.
