Gregory gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Brian Tanner in “ALF,” a sitcom that aired for four seasons from 1986 to 1990. The show centred around the Tanner family, who befriended ALF, an Alien Life Form that crash-landed into their garage.
Gregory’s character, Brian, was one of the two Tanner children, who formed a special bond with the extraterrestrial visitor. The series also starred Max Wright and Anne Schedeen as the Tanner parents and Andrea Elson as Brian’s sister.
