A somber turn of events has unfolded in the search for four young men who went missing in Wales. Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson, and Hugo Morris, all A-level students from Shrewsbury College, had embarked on a camping trip in the Gwynedd area.

North Wales Police launched an urgent appeal after the boys were last heard from on Sunday, November 19, amidst challenging weather conditions. The search intensified, with investigators and local authorities mobilized to locate the missing teenagers.

On Tuesday, November 21 2023, afternoon, a breakthrough in the investigation took a devastating turn. Acting on information from a member of the public, North Wales Police located the silver Ford Fiesta that the boys had been traveling in. The vehicle was discovered in Garreg, near the village of Tremadog, submerged in water and overturned.

The authorities confirmed the recovery of four bodies from the vehicle, bringing a heart-wrenching conclusion to the search. The car, found on its roof and partially submerged, marked the tragic end to the ordeal. While the search operation is concluded, investigations are ongoing to identify the bodies and to understand the circumstances that led to this devastating incident.
