Giorgos Giakoumakis is a Greek professional footballer.

He currently plays as a striker for Major League Soccer club Atlanta United FC and the Greece national team.
Giakoumakis started his football career with Atsalenios’ youth team where he played for three seasons before being promoted to the senior side in 2011.
A year after joining Atsalenios senior team, he moved to Platanias Football Club where he stayed till 2017. Giakoumakis then played for AEK Athens (2017–2020), VVV-Venlo (2020–2021), Celtic (2021–2023).
He joined Atlanta in February 2023 and made his MLS debut for the club on 5 March 2023, playing in Atlanta’s 1–1 draw with Toronto FC.

Internationally, Giakoumakis has represented Greece national team at the under-21 level. He was called to Greece senior national team in 2020.
