Daultabad, who won as an Independent against BJP’s Manish Yadav in 2019, had aligned with the BJP in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. Badshahpur is part of the Gurugram Lok Sabha constituency.
Reports indicate Daultabad had been unwell recently and was hospitalized after complaining of chest pain. Despite efforts, he succumbed to the heart attack.
The Manipal Hospital released a statement detailing the sequence of events leading to Daultabad’s demise, expressing condolences to his family and the people of Gurugram.

Known for his philanthropy in the Badshahpur region, Daultabad provided free ambulance services and supported the education of underprivileged children.
Prominent political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, expressed their condolences on social media.
Daultabad’s death further reduces the Haryana Vidhan Sabha’s strength to 87 members. Earlier resignations by MLAs Manohar Lal Khattar and Ranjit Singh for contesting Lok Sabha elections from Karnal and Hisar, respectively, had already diminished the assembly’s count.
