Hansi Flick was careful not to reveal too much about their conversation but hinted at Gundogan’s likelihood of staying.
“He has had some problems and felt a bit dizzy. We agreed that he would stay at home and I have spoken to him to see how he felt, but what we said to each other remains between us. I have the feeling that he will stay,” Flick stated.
Despite having one year left on his contract, Gundogan is reportedly considering a move, with Fenerbahce and Saudi Pro League clubs expressing interest.
