Hannah Lawton: Who Is Samuel Whitelock’s Wife?

Hannah Lawton is widely known as the wife of Samuel Whitelock.

An alumni of Lincoln University Hannah served as a winemaker in Auckland.

She came into the limelight through her marriage with the rugby union player.

Hannah and Sam met as students in 2008 at Lincoln University in Christchurch, and Whitelock reportedly proposed to her amid a holiday in Rarotonga.

After dating for a couple of years, Hannah Lawton and Sam Whitelock tied the knot at Christchurch’s Pemberton Gardens in front of 172 guests in 2016.

Hannah’s husband Samuel Whitelock is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays as a lock for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and Canterbury in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Whitelock is the most-capped All Blacks lock, having played 146 matches since his debut in 2010.

Through their union, Hannah Lawton and Sam Whitelock are blessed with three children; Fred Whitelock, Iris Whitelock and Penelope Whitelock.

Hannah and the children are often spotted at Sam’s games. He has achieved significant success in international rugby, including Super Rugby titles and multiple Rugby World Cup victories with the All Blacks.
