Ghana’s Felicity Asantewaa Sets New Guinness World Record for Most Cars Washed by an Individual

Felicity Asantewaa, a young Ghanaian woman, has secured the Guinness World Record for the most cars washed by an individual in eight hours.

On March 9, 2024, in Accra, Felicity washed 60 cars, surpassing the previous record by five cars. Her achievement was officially documented on the Guinness World Records website.

Felicity gained widespread attention for her ‘wash-car-a-thon’ challenge held at the East Legon Executive Club premises.

Her determination and skill drew crowds of supporters who witnessed her remarkable accomplishment.

Driven by a passion to empower young women in Ghana, promote gender equality, and highlight available opportunities, Felicity pursued this record-breaking feat.

Her initiative coincided with Afua Owusu Asantewaa Aduonum’s attempt to set a record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, showcasing a wave of inspiring achievements within the Ghanaian community.
