Many expressed shock at Nyantakyi’s aspirations, especially considering his involvement in corrupt practices exposed by TigerEye PI’s 2018 investigation, which led to his resignation from all football-related positions.

Despite his past, Nyantakyi has thrown his hat in the ring for the vacant seat in the Ejisu constituency, aiming to represent the people and promote grassroots sports development.

In an interview with Captain Smart on the Onua Maakye show, Nyantakyi outlined his plans for community development and grassroots sports, stressing their importance for progress.

However, his admission of paying $100,000 to Anas to suppress the documentary that exposed him raised eyebrows among Ghanaians, questioning his credibility and intentions in seeking political office.

While some remain skeptical about Nyantakyi’s bid for political power, others acknowledge his determination. Only time will reveal whether his ambitions come to fruition amidst public scrutiny and skepticism.
