The Ghanaian artist accuses Kehinde Wiley of sexually assaulting him twice in June 2021, during a dinner organized by the Ghana Creative Art Council. He alleges that Wiley groped him inappropriately while accompanying him to the bathroom.
Wiley, on the other hand, denies the allegations, claiming instead that he had a consensual relationship with Awuah-Darko years ago. He dismisses the accusations as false and asserts his innocence, citing evidence supporting his claims.
As Awuah-Darko seeks justice, the legal battle unfolds, shedding light on the complexities of addressing sexual assault allegations within the art community.
