Awuah-Darko revealed on Instagram in March that he had experienced sexual assault in the past but hadn’t disclosed the perpetrator’s identity. However, he’s now determined to pursue justice and break the silence, despite the daunting legal expenses.

The Ghanaian artist accuses Kehinde Wiley of sexually assaulting him twice in June 2021, during a dinner organized by the Ghana Creative Art Council. He alleges that Wiley groped him inappropriately while accompanying him to the bathroom.
