Germany’s quarter-final opponents in EURO 2024 have been confirmed as Spain, following La Roja’s victory over Georgia in the round of 16.

After an early setback with a Robin Le Normand own goal putting Georgia ahead, Spain rallied back strongly.
Rodri equalized before halftime, and second-half goals from Fabián Ruiz, Nico Williams, and Dani Olmo sealed a comprehensive 4-1 win for the three-time EURO champions.

The upcoming quarter-final clash between Germany and Spain is scheduled for Friday evening in Stuttgart at 18:00 CEST.
This match will mark a significant encounter as both teams aim to advance further in the tournament.
Their last meeting was at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they played out a 1-1 draw in Group E, with goals from Álvaro Morata for Spain and Niclas Füllkrug for Germany.
