George Clooney urges President Biden to withdraw, claiming he can’t win the 2024 election

Famous actor George Clooney has suggested that President Joe Biden should not run for reelection in 2024. Clooney believes Biden won’t be able to beat Donald Trump.

Clooney wrote an article for the New York Times after meeting Biden at a fundraiser in Los Angeles recently. He noticed that Biden seemed different from how he was in 2010 or even 2020. Clooney said Biden appeared similar to how he did during the recent debate.

The actor warned fellow Democrats that they’re ignoring clear signs because they’re scared of Trump winning again. He pointed out that Biden’s interview with George Stephanopoulos only confirmed what people saw in the debate.

While Clooney respects Biden and sees him as a friend who saved democracy in 2020, he thinks Biden’s age is a big problem for the upcoming election. Clooney said that no one can win against time, and he doesn’t believe Democrats can win in November with Biden as their candidate.

Instead, Clooney suggested that Democrats should look at other possible candidates. He mentioned Vice President Kamala Harris and several governors like Gretchen Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, Wes Moore, and Andy Beshear. He thinks the party should consider these options before their big meeting in Chicago next month.

Clooney ended his article by praising Biden’s past work and expressing hope for a new candidate. He said that Biden saved democracy once in 2020, and now they need someone else to do it again in 2024.
