Renowned Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has responded to ongoing rumors suggesting she has become a billionaire following the success of her latest movie, A Tribe Called Judah.

Despite the film grossing over a billion naira, the actress clarified that she did not personally pocket billions from it.
Addressing the speculation, Funke Akindele underscored that despite the significant financial success of her recent work, she remains committed to her craft and diligent work ethic.

She expressed appreciation for the support she received but clarified that she is not a billionaire, describing herself as a “confirmed hustler.”
Funke Akindele wrote: “Thanks dear. I’m not a billionaire! My movie A Tribe Called Judah grossed over a billion naira. But I didn’t take the billion home o!!! I be confirmed hustler.”
At present, Funke Akindele’s movies, such as A Tribe Called Judah, Battle on Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto: The Saga, rank among the highest-grossing films in the history of Nollywood.
