Former West Ham United forward Frederic Kanoute has expressed confidence in Mohammed Kudus’ potential to clinch the African Footballer of the Year award.

Kanoute, who once donned the Hammers jersey and secured the same award in 2007 with Sevilla, praised Kudus’ remarkable impact since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam last year.
In his debut season in the Premier League, Kudus has emerged as a force to be reckoned with, contributing to 17 goals across all competitions for West Ham, with 12 goals and five assists under his belt.
