Franklin Cudjoe Urges the Electoral Commission to Be More Careful in Its Operations

Franklin Cudjoe, head of IMANI Africa, has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to take a more practical approach to its work.

Cudjoe stressed the need for the EC to make decisions that are realistic and beneficial for the country. Cudjoe emphasized that being practical would promote fairness, transparency, and inclusivity in the electoral process.

He suggested that the EC needs to be more flexible and efficient in organizing elections, stating, “They should be a little bit pragmatic, You know it is not rocket science to organise elections in this country.” Cudjoe’s remarks come amid criticism of the EC’s recent handling of electoral matters.
