Actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has shared her disapproval at the method of beating kids mercilessly as a way of disciplining them.

According to the actress, this old method of disciplining kids will only produce damaged kids who will grow into “damaged angry violent adults.”
The actress believes that mercilessly beating kids as punishment will have the child growing up to believe that, the only way to correct a wrong is through violence and they will transfer the same violence onto others.
She added that it is said “spear the rod and spoil the child” and the rod has been used to discipline kids for years now and yet, society is still getting worse with “violence increasing had morals decreasing.”

“At what stage of decadence do we realize that the rod/violence method of discipline is not effective“? she quizzed
Etinosa has therefore called for this method of disciplining children to be stopped and urged that, new ways rather be found.
