Fireboy DML Admits to Smoking Despite Singing Against It

Nigerian music star Fireboy DML recently spoke about his change of heart regarding smoking cannabis, which he had previously opposed in his music.

The YBNL artist highlighted his personal evolution and changing viewpoints as the reasons for his new approach. This admission came to light during an online discussion that arose due to seeming inconsistencies in his songs’ lyrics.

Fans noticed a contrast between his earlier lyrics where he mentioned not smoking and his later lyrics that suggested otherwise.

In addressing his fans’ concerns on Twitter, Fireboy DML explained that as time passes, people’s views and choices can naturally change, implying that his lyrics reflect his personal journey and transformations.
