Nigerian filmmakers Fatimah Gimsay, Isioma Osaje, Temidayo Makanjuola, and Stephanie Dadet have been chosen to join a prestigious four-week residency program for filmmakers hosted by African Creative TV (ACTV).

This opportunity will take place in Los Angeles, California, from July 8 to August 8, 2024.
The residency is a collaborative effort with the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
It was established following the 2022 Africa Leaders Summit by US President Joe Biden, aimed at bringing African TV professionals together with American industry experts.

The program includes sessions focused on professional growth and networking.
Gimsay and Makanjuola will participate in the Head Writer category, while Osaje and Dadet will be part of the Producer category.
Gimsay has a notable background with Africa Magic, contributing to popular shows like Tinsel and Riona. Makanjuola is recognized for his work on the Netflix series Blood Sisters and other projects such as Money Men Marriage and Dust to Dreams.
