McAvennie, a former Hammers and Celtic striker, highlighted the ongoing speculation surrounding the influential duo and fears of losing them.
Both Kudus and Paqueta have played crucial roles for West Ham this season.
Despite facing injuries, Paqueta, the Brazilian midfielder, has contributed seven goals and seven assists, while Ghanaian talent Kudus has impressed with 13 goals and five assists in 36 appearances.
McAvennie worries that West Ham might sell Kudus and Paqueta to raise funds, especially as the club seeks new investors to improve its financial situation.

He stressed the importance of retaining both players and urged the club to strengthen the team with additional signings.
“I fear they will both leave, that’s what I keep hearing,” McAvennie told Football Insider. He emphasized the need to keep Kudus and Paqueta and reinforce the defense.
McAvennie’s remarks underline his reluctance to see West Ham lose key assets like Kudus and Paqueta.
While Paqueta is in his second season at West Ham, Kudus joined in the summer and quickly made an impact. Before joining West Ham, the 23-year-old attracted interest from top clubs across Europe.
The summer transfer window will reveal whether McAvennie’s concerns about Kudus and Paqueta’s potential departure are valid.
