The Dutchman faced questions about United’s recent poor form and their battle to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League. As United currently sits in seventh place, concerns were raised about the potential for their worst-ever Premier League finish.

During the press conference, a reporter started to inquire about the risk of United finishing below seventh place, which would be their lowest position in Premier League history.

Before the question could be completed, Ten Hag intervened, stating, “I don’t comment. I don’t take that question. That is not that important for this moment,” and then promptly left the press conference.
Despite their league struggles, United still have an opportunity to redeem their season in the FA Cup. They are gearing up to play against Championship side Coventry in the semi-finals at Wembley, aiming to secure a spot in the final for the second consecutive season.
