Raheem Sterling, who was surprisingly left out of the match, has expressed a desire for clarity regarding his future at Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca explained that Sterling’s exclusion was a technical decision due to the squad’s size, stating, “I want all 30 players, but there is no space for all of them, so some have to leave.”

This admission suggests that Sterling might be among those considered expendable as Chelsea looks to balance their books after a summer of significant spending.
Juventus have shown interest in Raheem Sterling, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in a £47.5 million deal two years ago.
Despite the speculation, Sterling remains committed to Chelsea and expressed a strong desire to fight for his place in the starting line-up.
