Female Ghanaian rapper Eno Barony has disclosed she was almost a victim of rape and the culprit she says is a popular Ghanaian artist.
Recounting the incident on Hitz FM, the ‘Fear no-man’ hitmaker said the attempted rapist is an artist who is ‘out there’, hence she refused to mention a name.
Eno narrated that, she was looking forward to having collaboration with this popular artist so she agreed to late-night studio session since the artist had been scheduling recording sessions in the evening with the excuse that a day time session is almost impossible because of his busy schedule.
She said, when she arrived at the studio, she received a warm reception in the first couple of minutes.
“We discussed the studio so he picked me at the junction because then I had no car and we went there. He gave me food, then we were cool so I ate,”
After her meal, Eno said she was offered a gum, which she declined because it was too late. But the artiste insisted she chews before their session, but she still said no. And when her refusal became persistent, the artiste became charged and pounced on her, forcing the gum in-between her teeth.
According to Eno, the gum had been laced with a sexual stimulant, and the artist had used an aphrodisiac which she realised through his reactions. Sensing danger, she said she fought back with all her strength and when she broke free, she left the house as fast her legs could carry her.
