In an exclusive interview on The Chat, an entertainment show on Citi TV hosted by Ekow Koomson, Eno Barony recounted her father’s reaction when he saw her rapping on TV. She said, “I appeared on TV one Saturday.

My dad was asleep in the living room when a commercial for my competition came on. He woke up and asked whose voice it was.

Later, he watched me perform at 5 pm. Afterward, I was punished because, as a reverend minister’s daughter, I was rapping in a short skirt.”

Despite his initial reaction, Eno Barony, whose real name is Ruth Nyame Adom, emphasized that her father is now proud of her success. However, she added, “My dad still says Jesus is the only celebrity he knows.”
