Eniola Ajao, the talented Nollywood actress, has taken a brave step by issuing a heartfelt apology for her recent decision at the “Beast of Two Worlds” movie premiere.

The controversy arose when she named Bobrisky, the prominent Nigerian crossdresser, as the “Best Dressed Female” at the event. Following the event, Bobrisky also took to social media to assert her identity as a woman, stating that other women should accept her as part of their community.
Now, with sincerity and remorse, Eniola seeks to make amends. In an open letter addressed to the public, Eniola expressed her deep regret over the events that unfolded during the premiere of “AJAKAJU” on March 24, 2024.

Eniola Ajao went ahead to urge Nigerians to watch her movie, in which she invested over 250 million Naira. She expressed her fear of the investment going to waste and asked for the public’s forgiveness and support.

Eniola acknowledged the distress caused by her choice and took full responsibility for the ensuing drama. Her words resonate with humility and a desire to set things right.
To the Muslim community, Eniola extended her sincerest apologies, recognizing the significance of the sacred month of Ramadan. She emphasized that her intention was never to offend or upset anyone during this holy time.
As a woman herself, Eniola also addressed her fellow women. She expressed profound regret and assured them of her reverence for womanhood. Her commitment to upholding the dignity and respect associated with being a woman shines through.
Notably, Eniola specifically apologized to veterans Femi Adebayo, his wife, and Dayo Amusa, who were embroiled in a bitter exchange on social media due to the controversy. She also reached out to Bobrisky, emphasizing that her intentions were never harmful.
To rectify her mistake, Eniola announced two new Best Dressed winners: Bode Alao and another attendee from the premiere. As a token of her sincere apology, she pledged to pay each of them ₦1,000,000.
