This consortium, composed of Touchstone Capital Partners, UIC Energy, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co. Ltd., and Wuhan Engineering Co. Ltd., will spearhead the first phase of the Petroleum Hub project in the Jomoro Municipal Area of the Western Region.

This ambitious initiative aims to position Ghana as a pivotal hub for energy trade in West Africa. It aligns with the President’s vision to establish Ghana as a regional leader in petroleum refining, storage, and distribution.

Expected to cover more than 20,000 acres, the Petroleum Hub project is set to include refineries with a daily capacity of 300,000 barrels, petrochemical plants capable of 90,000 barrels per day, extensive storage facilities, and crucial port infrastructure.
