Emma Watkins began ballet when she was four years old. She witnessed the Wiggles do Irish dancing and went on to study various dance genres such as jazz, hip hop, tap, and contemporary.
Emma Watkins attended The McDonald College, a performing arts institution, and received a full scholarship to the Sydney Film School. She also earned a certificate in musical theatre from ED5 International in Sydney. Watkins graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a master’s degree in Media Arts and Production.
Emma Watkins has been teaching youngsters to dance since she was in high school. She has also been in Bollywood films, learned to play the drums and other percussion instruments, was crowned Miss Granny Smith Apples in 2009, and by 2012, she was learning Australian Sign Language.
