Elizabeth Donnelly, also known as Liz Donnelly, is the second wife of Kim Dotcom, a German-Finnish internet entrepreneur and political activist who resides in Glenorchy, New Zealand.

Liz, originally from Herne Bay, was studying business and law at AUT University when she first encountered Dotcom.
The meeting happened through an Instagram message Dotcom sent after seeing her photograph online.
Liz, who had just turned 20, was initially intrigued but found the situation a bit unusual. Despite the odd start, the two quickly developed a connection through messages and phone calls.
Their first in-person meeting occurred after Liz decided to visit Dotcom’s Princes Wharf penthouse in Auckland. The encounter went well, leading to several hours of conversation.

The couple began dating shortly after, and in November 2017, Dotcom announced their engagement.
They married on January 20, 2018, a date chosen deliberately to mark the anniversary of the FBI raid on Dotcom’s residence in 2012, which was part of a global operation to shut down his file-sharing site, Megaupload.
Liz and Dotcom moved to Queenstown in 2017, and their first child together was born in November 2022, marking Dotcom’s sixth child, all of whom were conceived through IVF.
