Speaking in Wa, during her campaign visit to the market on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang received a warm welcome from the traders.
She expressed concern over the high cost of food and assured the traders, mainly women, that Mahama understands their struggles and will boost their businesses if elected.
Recalling past achievements, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted that the NDC government, under Mahama, had built and expanded the Wa market to support women traders.
