Ghanaian social media personality and actress Efia Odo has strongly rebutted recent comments made by musician Kwesi Arthur regarding a podcast episode featuring her.

On August 9, Kwesi Arthur tweeted his dissatisfaction, accusing Efia Odo of tarnishing his reputation by repeatedly mentioning him for publicity. He suggested he might pursue legal action over the issue.
In her response, Efia Odo expressed frustration over what she perceives as a misinterpretation of her remarks. She criticized Kwesi Arthur for reacting based on social media snippets without watching the entire podcast episode.
Efia Odo tweeted, “You didn’t watch the episode but are ranting based on snippets you saw online. You need to be smarter than that. Peace be unto you.”

She continued, “You didn’t even watch the show and now you’re exposing yourself. Feeling guilty, are you?”
Efia Odo clarified that her comments were about her ex, Revlo, not Kwesi Arthur. She also called out media outlets for their inaccurate reporting and urged them to verify facts before publishing.
“Ameyaw do better! Did I mention Kwesi Arthur’s name when I talked about getting a tattoo? I mentioned my ex, not Kwesi,” she stated.
She added, “Pulse Ghana, don’t annoy me! Have you actually watched the podcast to understand who I was talking about? Some journalists in this country are so lazy! WATCH THE PODCAST BEFORE REPORTING.”
