Eddie Driscoll Obituary

Eddie Driscoll, known for his role in Sex and The City and also seen in Mad Men, has passed away after battling cancer, it has been revealed.

The 60-year-old actor died in Los Angeles on December 15, with his friend Jimmy Palumbo sharing the news. Eddie suffered from a saddle pulmonary embolism after fighting stomach cancer.

Besides a brief appearance in Sex and the City as Fendi Man in one episode, Eddie is remembered for his role in a 2014 episode of Mad Men. However, he was most recognized for his part in The Last Ship as Randall Croft.

The Last Ship was on TV for four years, from 2014 to 2018. It was about the crew of a US Navy missile destroyer trying to find a cure for a global viral pandemic.

Eddie also appeared in the 2004 action thriller Cellular as a Crewcut Officer and starred in the 2002 romantic comedy Boat Trip.

His other credits include appearances on Days Of Our Lives, This Is Us, CSI: Miami, Future Man, How to Get Away with Murder, Outlaw, and Desperate Housewives.

Eddie started his acting career at the University of Miami and later trained at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in North Palm Beach, Florida.
